Accents

Extra-Small water features are great for accenting an existing landscape, or in a tight, refined area such as courtyard or walkway. They are great stand-alone features, but can also be used in conjunction with plants and accent lighting to create the mood you desire.

Requirements:
These Extra-Small features range from 12"-40" in height and sit on approx 3'x3' of ground. Construction requires hand digging tools and only 1-2 days to complete. They use small, high efficiency pumps that only require 1-2 amps.

Designer's Note! Want something more dramatic? The Bubbling Pots can be ordered up to approximately 6' and VERY LARGE stones can be cored(8' and 3 tons anyone?). Also, use several sizes together to enhance appearance. Cost varries with special designs.

Small Residential

Small ponds and waterfalls are the most popular among home owners. Water on Marrs could build a pondless waterfall in the front yard or a Koi pond in the back. Ponds and waterfalls transform an ordinary yard into something spectacular and inviting. The look and sound of a waterfall and pond next to your back patio is relaxing, great for entertaining, and can even increase a home's value.

Requirements:
These small ponds and waterfalls range from ponds 4'x6' to 8'x11' and pondless waterfalls up to 10' in length. Construction requires hand digging tools and only 2-5 days to complete. These ponds and waterfalls use high efficiency pumps that only require 2-5 amps.

$5,000-$20,000

Designer's Note! Pondless waterfalls are great for families with small children or in areas where more than 2"-3" of water is undesirable. A pondless can also be converted into a pond later when the kids are grown!.

Medium Residential/Commercial

Medium sized ponds and waterfalls are for homeowners and business' who really want to make a statement. As a homeowner, a Medium pond or waterfall really becomes the focus of the landscape. A business can benefit from an eye-catching waterfall that could enhance sign-age or liven up an otherwise uninteresting building.

Requirements: These Medium ponds and waterfalls range from 15'x20' to 20'x40' ponds,and pondless waterfalls over 20' in length or very wide. Construction requires hand digging tools, small tractors (skid steer, mini excavator, access permitting) and 1-3 weeks to complete. The pumps require minimum 5-20 amps.

Price: $20,000-$75,000

Designer's Note! Medium sized ponds and waterfalls look great with LARGE boulders. They can be used as accents, to frame the waterfall, or even as an island in the center of the pond!

Large Residential/Commercial

Large lakes and waterfalls are for homeowners and businesses with lots of land! A Large lake is great for swimming and boating, while a Large waterfall or stream can add drama and change an entire landscape. Large lakes and waterfalls can take an estate, family ranch, horse property, or even business development, and transform it into beautiful parkland!

Requirements:
These Large lakes and waterfalls range from40'x60' to 100'x200' ponds. Construction requires hand digging tools, medium tractors(backhoe, excavator). 1 month and up to complete. Pump requirements vary greatly.

Price: $100,000-$1,000,000

Designer's Note! Large lakes and waterfalls are a LARGE commitment. Careful planning will ensure the project will be a success. Artist renderings, CAD drawings, and consulting with architects and engineers may cost a little up front -but will certainly pay dividends down the road!

Extra-Large lakes and waterfalls are for land development. Extra-Large lakes and waterfalls are great for swimming, boating, fishing...heck- water skiing! These lakes and waterfalls are here for generations to come, changing more than the landscape, they change the environment; plant life, wildlife, even the migratory patterns of birds! How cool is that...

Requirements:
These Extra-Large lakes and waterfalls can be measured in acres and have millions of gallons of water. Construction requires heavy equipment(front loaders, large excavators, cranes) and months to years to complete. Pump requirements vary greatly.

Designer's Note! Extra-Large lakes and waterfalls require more people to get involved. These pictures are from a lake (5-acres and 30 feet deep) expertly designed, engineered, and graded by Danny Boone of Northwest Boulder and Stone, Inc. Danny also supplied the 100's of tons of premium rocks and boulders. Our expert craftsmanship came into play when it was time to place carefully selected boulders around the lake to achieve the effect Danny had envisioned.
